A Framework for a Good Life

A 25-year quest across IIT, the Himalayas, IIM, and the frontiers of AI — distilled into one equation for human fulfillment.

The Framework

Three Independent Core Drives

Just as an AGI system requires a Core Objective Function and Independent Core Drives to operate, so does the human brain — a Biological General Intelligence. Our Core Objective Function is to Survive. But survival alone doesn't explain what makes life feel good. That answer lies in three irreducible drives:

1st H
Happiness

Fulfillment from the quantity, quality, and proximity of your social connections. Family, friends, community.

2nd H
Highness

The drive for professional achievement, mastery, and growth. Building, creating, and being recognized.

3rd H
Holiness

Inner peace through elevated consciousness. Meditation, stillness, presence — quiet wholeness.

The Equation

The Equation of Fulfillment

F = Ha + Hi + Ho

F is your Fulfillment Constant — unique to you. Ha, Hi, and Ho represent your individual capacity for Happiness, Highness, and Holiness. The ratio in which these drives exist within you is your F-Ratio.

Two people can have the same objective level of happiness, yet one feels deeply fulfilled while the other faces a massive deficit — because their F-Ratios are different. The framework doesn't judge which ratio is better. It illuminates your unique path to fulfillment.

The Origin

A 25-Year Journey to One Equation

1998

IIT Kanpur. A 25-year alumni reunion reveals deep dissatisfaction among the accomplished — sparking the question: What truly makes a good life? Drops out to find the answer.

1999 – 2005

Deep study across literature, philosophy, and politics (Kanpur University, JNU) — searching for the foundational principles of human fulfillment.

2005 – 2009

The Himalayas. Four years of silence, unlearning, and inner exploration.

2009 – 2011

IIM Ahmedabad. Bridging inner wisdom with worldly systems.

2011 – 2023

Serial entrepreneurship in travel, gaming, and AI. Each venture a lens on human drives and what makes people tick.

2023

While building AGI at Olbrain Labs, the eureka moment arrived. Through extensive discussion and brainstorming with Nishant Singh, the three independent core drives crystallized into the Life 3H Framework.

A journey that began in 1998 finally concluded in 2023. Literature, philosophy, the Himalayas, entrepreneurship, and artificial intelligence — all converged into one framework for a good life.
